My story began 4 years ago when I wound up in the emergency room after climbing 6 flights of stairs at work. I work in a hospital and I had major chest pains and I was really diaphoretic. I told my charge nurse and he took me straight to the emergency room down stairs and the doctor told me I had angina and that I no longer could climb stairs. Then I had to see my primary care physician and he asked me, after he saw how much I weighed, whether I wanted to live or die. I weighed a whopping 265. At my height, which is a 5´10 frame, I didn’t think I was that heavy. I chose to live and 2-3 days later I saw the Walk Away The Pounds video with Leslie Sansone, and I hesitated at first because I thought about the money, then I heard my doctor yelling at me 3 days earlier and I thought ohh I better get them and in the 1st week I had lost 5 pounds after starting that program and now I’m down 80 pounds. I now weigh in at a respectfully 190 but I still need to loose another 50 pounds and honey I have all self-confidence I will ever need. I’m walking up to 7 miles, 3-5 times a week and I walk 3 miles at least every day and I’m on the Atkins diet. I was a size 22-24, now I’m down to 18-20 and boy am I thrilled about that. Maybe some pants, depending on how there made, I can get in to a size 16 wow we!!! And I do pilates maybe 1x a week and that is my success story in a nut shell

As a tall person, I bought into the myth that I could eat whatever I wanted to. After first meeting my husband, I gained fifty pounds in the span of eight months. I tried to accept that I was just a bigger person now. After the two of us became engaged my mother reminded me that I used to be an athlete. I began to walk. I walked 2.5 miles a day, six days a week. In five months, along with sensible eating, I lost 47 pounds and fit into my wedding dress that I had intentionally purchased two sizes too small. I still continue to walk to maintain my weight and peace of mind.

I lost my job last year and was not having any luck in finding another one. I became depressed and starting eating a lot around October last year. By Jan. 27th of this year I had gained 68 lbs, I weighed a whopping 288lbs !!!!! I was so disgusted with myself. I started the very next day to walk. I barely was able to get in a mile the first day. I slowly increased my distance everyday challenging myself to go a little further. Now it is 3 months later and I have lost 58 lbs !!!! I am up to 8 miles per day in about 2 hours time. The weight just seemed to be falling off. I am within 10 lbs of my goal, but I never plan to stop walking. Not only are there physical benefits, but the emotional, mental benefits are absolutely amazing. You can bet that I will be a lot more confident at that next job interview. I am 51 years old, so it is never too late to start walking. My neighbors who have seen me out on the roads tell me what an inspiration I have been to them. I urge anyone who wants to lose weight and improve their mental capacity to start walking. They will never regret it. Also, the exercise curbed my appetite so I lost weight without having to think about dieting.

At the first of the year, I had weighed myself and was appalled that I weighed as much as I did when I was pregnant with my daughter, who is now 22 years old. I had constant aches and pains that the doctor could not explain. On New Year’s Day, I made a resolution to lose 15 pounds by my 47th birthday in March. I started by cutting carbs, all potatoes and bread. I came from a poor family and potatoes and bread were staples growing up. The first 30 days were tough. My secretary and I started walking. We walked our first mile at lunch in 14 degree weather with our coats all buttoned up. We just about died walking one mile. We stuck with a mile at least 3 times a week. Then we went to two miles and up to the 3 miles we walk now. (At least the weather is better) I lost my 15 pounds by my birthday and have since lost another 6 pounds. I continue on a healthy eating plan with plenty of salads and protein. When I eat something that I shouldn´t, I make up for it by eating a lighter meal next or additional exercise. If someone would have told me in January that I could lose over 20 pounds I would not have believed them. But it was much easier than I thought it was going to be. I never let myself get hungry anymore. When you let yourself get hungry you make bad eating decisions. I now eat breakfast everyday, even if it would make me late, eat a snack mid morning and brown bag my lunch. It has been a major change in my life but I feel better than I have in 20 years. No more aches and pains, more energy and a happier outlook on life! It was well worth it.

About 2 yrs. ago I gave birth to my second child. I felt horrible when 6 months after giving birth I had gained 20 plus the 50 pounds I had put on during my pregnancy. In Oct. of 2002 I started taking short walks 20-30 minutes and I started feeling better. Over the months I would increase the length of my walks, and I purchased walk away the pounds and began walking with the videos. I have since lost 45 pounds and my energy level is high. I still have weight to lose but now I'm much more enthusiastic about exercising, and I feel great. I would recommend to anybody who does not have a lot of time or anyone who has a hard time staying motivated to buy one of Leslie Sansone's walk away the pounds, and pop it in your VCR or DVD player and give it a try, you'll love it and it's so easy to do.

I am a 24 year old mother with 2 boys ages, 3 and 10 months. I began The Walk Away The Pounds Express tapes 12 weeks ago and have lost a total of 16.5 pounds!! I also do crunches at night before bed, but in all, I couldn´t ever believe I could look like what I did before my kids. Thanks to these tapes my confidence has gone so high I´m wearing a bikini again this summer! And just in December I was in a size 14 and today(April 23) I´m in a 9!!!! I´ve made these tapes daily part of my routine. I do the 3 mile everyday!
Thanks, Leslie Sansone!

I work in a correctional facility. While visiting a lockdown area of another correctional facility, I noticed that the recreational officer was using Walk Away The Pounds [by Leslie Sansone] with the females on the lockdown unit. As a busy mom, I decided that this type of workout which allows me to exercise at home, would be what I would need to get me over a frustrating plateau that I had reached through dieting alone. 110 pounds later, I can't say enough about W.A.T.P. Everyone I know is using it. Thank you for giving me my life back at the age of 38 years old.
